A membership has standards.

An even, verified membership prevents most of what goes wrong on dating apps. Standards handle the rest. These are the ones every member holds to, and what happens when someone doesn't.

On this page

  1. What One to One holds to
  2. Be exactly who you are
  3. Treat people the way you'd want to be treated
  4. No solicitation, no scams, no pulling people off-platform
  5. What happens when someone breaks them
  6. Leave whenever you want

What One to One holds to

  1. Even. One woman admitted for every man, in every city, always. When one side runs ahead, it waits.
  2. Approved. Every application is read by a person. Membership can be declined, and that's the point.
  3. Verified. Government ID and facial verification before anyone can see you. Not a badge. Not an upgrade. A condition of membership.
  4. Intentional. Interest, Super Interest, and a conversation that opens when it's mutual. No infinite deck, no volume game.
  5. Active. Profiles that go quiet leave circulation. You'll never spend a week writing to someone who stopped opening the app in March.

Be exactly who you are

  • One person, one account, one profile.
  • Your photos are of you, and they're recent.
  • No impersonating anyone, and no misrepresenting your age, identity or relationship status.

Verification makes most of this automatic. The rest is on you.

Treat people the way you'd want to be treated

  • No harassment, threats, hate or discrimination.
  • No sexually explicit content sent to anyone who hasn't asked for it.
  • Take no for an answer, the first time. Not replying is an answer too.

No solicitation, no scams, no pulling people off-platform

  • Never ask another member for money, gift cards, cryptocurrency or financial details, for any reason.
  • No selling, advertising, recruiting or promoting anything.
  • Don't push someone to move to another app before they're ready.

We look for it and we act on it. If someone asks you for money, report them. How to spot a romance scam.

What happens when someone breaks them

Every report is read by a person, and serious ones are escalated the same day. Depending on what happened, the outcome is a warning, a suspension, or removal. Membership can end.

Someone removed from One to One can't come back under a new account. The full legal terms are in our Terms of Service.

Leave whenever you want

Pause your profile, export your data, or delete your account for good. Nobody will try to talk you out of it.

Some people just align.

An even membership, everyone approved, everyone verified. Join the waitlist and we'll write the moment a place opens in your city.
